Kamehameha Day Celebration 2025
June 11 @ 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

🌺 Celebrate King Kamehameha Day in Kohala – June 11th 🌺
Join us in Kohala on Tuesday, June 11th, as we honor the legacy of King Kamehameha I in the place of his birth. The day begins with a traditional Hawaiian sunrise protocol and lei draping ceremony at the Kamehameha statue, followed by the entrance of the royal court and royal societies.
✨ At 9:00 AM, Akoni Pule Highway closes for our vibrant floral parade, a breathtaking display of culture and community spirit.
🎶 Then head over to Kamehameha Park for a festive Ho’olaule‘a, featuring live Hawaiian music, local food vendors, arts, crafts, and more.
It’s a day of tradition, pride, and aloha. We’ll see you in Kohala!
