65th Annual Waimea Twilight Christmas Parade

Join us for the beloved 65th Waimea Twilight Christmas Parade, a magical evening that brings the entire community together to kick off the holiday season! Save the date and bring your ‘ohana for an unforgettable night of lights, celebration, and hometown pride.

🎄 Parade Route

The parade route will remain the same as last year:

• Units will depart from Waimea Park onto Kawaihae Road (across from the former Habitat for Humanity ReStore / historic Chock In).

• Left onto Kawaihae Road

• Right onto Lindsey Road toward the main intersection

• Left onto Mamalahoa Highway (Hwy 19), traveling through the town center

• Right onto Pukalani

• Right onto Ala ‘Ohia

• Parade concludes at Kalani Schutte Waimea District Park

👀 Spectator Guidelines

For everyone’s safety and a smooth parade experience:

• Please stay on sidewalks or grass areas — keep off the roadway

• No open fires, barbecues, or hibachis (to prevent wildfire hazards)

• Do not throw candy from parade units

• Keep a close eye on all keiki

• Please help keep Waimea beautiful — take your trash with you

  • Trash bags are available at all narrator stations

This year’s parade proudly supports the Community Meal at St. James, helping nourish and uplift our community during the holiday season.

*There are no alternate routes. These roads will be completely closed to traffic. Access for emergency vehicles will be accommodated by uniformed, Hawaii County Special Duty Police Officers.
