About North Hawaii Hospice Floating Lantern Ceremony
North Hawaii Hospice presents the annual Floating Lantern Ceremony at the Fairmont Orchid on Sunday, August 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. to honor and remember those who have gone before us.
Admission is free and open to all ages.
Complimentary self- parking will be provided by Fairmont Orchid, but carpooling is encouraged. Food will not be sold at the event, but the property’s restaurants will be open for your dining pleasure.
Lanterns: Pre-sale of lanterns ends 8/14. Suggested Donation of $25. Reserve a Lantern Here
Reserved lanterns will be available for early pick up for one day only: Saturday, August 16th, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at North Hawaii Hospice: 65-1328 Kawaihae Rd. in Waimea. If you prefer, you may collect your reserved lantern(s) at the Ceremony beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Parking: To make your arrival to the event as smooth as possible, we encourage carpooling. Please note that valet parking, while available, is not the closest to the event. If you choose this option, a gratuity would be appreciated for the hardworking Fairmont staff. Complimentary self-parking is available for event attendees. For validation, simply present your parking ticket at the registration table.
